The society exists to ensure that public interest in this ancient Wood is encouraged and maintained.

The benefits of membership of the Society include:

  • Free entrance to talks, often illustrated, on a variety of Natural History subjects.
  • A quarterly Newsletter.
  • The knowledge that you are joining with like-minded people who value this beautiful asset and that a significant proportion of your subscription helps to fund Society projects in the Wood.

Please visit our website for more information about the wood, and our projects.

Membership is £5 per annum per individual or household. Emailed newsletters are delivered free. If you provide your email address below, we will add you to our mailing list and you will also receive notification of events which the Society organises, and other information relating to the organisation*. The Society’s printed newsletters for Billericay addresses are delivered by hand. For all other addresses an extra £2.50 postal contribution is requested.
