Talk given by John Attiwell, Community Ranger, Essex Wildlife Trust
John will examine the butterflies and moths found in Essex to demonstrate their diversity, and their oft-overlooked caterpillars. Bat and Moth Evening
Wednesday 15th July 20.30 - 23.30

Using our bat detectors to pick-up their signals, we can identify the bat species as we watch them hawking at dusk for flying insects along the rides. As darkness falls, two Moth traps will be running. This will allow us close-up views of many species that would otherwise remain a mystery to visitors
